What does it mean to be an MYP student?The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is more than just an acronym. It is the framework we use for grades 6-10 at Royal Oak Middle and High School. To be an MYP students means that they will be challenged in class and become more well-rounded by taking courses in eight different subject areas. In these classes students learn to understand and navigate our complex world by developing skills and attitudes for being responsible and active citizens. Ultimately, as MYP students, we look to understand how using what we learn can help equip us to make the world more just and peace place.
