Samsung's Solve for Tomorrow competition is currently underway, and there are two more weeks for teachers to sign up. The contest is for students in 6-12 grade who are interested in STEAM projects that can have an immediate impact on their local and/or global communities. The core benefit of creating an entry is that it can help students take action to identify and propose solutions to issues that impact their daily lives. It also allows them to use their skills from science, technology, engineering, arts, and math on real world problems. For teams that advance to the state level, students are partnered with Samsung employees to work on implementing their proposed solution to a problem. State winners receive $25,000 in school technology. Finalists receive $50,000 in school technology and a trip to the national pitch event where the three winners are chosen.
